<p>When it comes to Kuching food, everyone will think of kolo mee. To put it simply, Golo Mee is dry noodles served with some secret scallion oil or lard. When paired with char siew, a bowl of Golo Mee is what the locals call it. So in the early 1970s, it can be said that every household would sell this delicacy. Because the production process is simple, convenient and fast, Kolo Mee has become our "national breakfast" in Kuching since the 1970s.</p>

<h2 class="content-title">What everyone calls it kolo mee</h2>
<p>There is a reason. Because the masters of hot noodles in the early days would put the noodles in a pot to scald them when making this noodle, and then put the noodles into a bowl with seasoning after they were cooked. <p>The reason why the Kolo noodles they buy is said to have the taste of the 1970s is because the seasoning of their noodles can still taste a very strong lard flavor, even the red kolo noodles can also taste a very strong flavor. Because kolo noodles are divided into original flavor (white) and red (fork pork oil), the original flavor is salty and fragrant, while red is sweet and fragrant. The way to make it red in the early days is to drop a little char siew oil into the noodles when making char siew.</p>
